Christmas Baking

Some people wear an apron to bake. Not me! I wear this:

Yes, someone is a little spoiled.

Uncharted Territory

Landon & Presley are so different in so many ways but especially with their eating habits! We all know that Landon LOVES his food & always has! He asks me for food ALL day long. He will literally get down from eating lunch & ask for more food (after he has eaten a lot!) Now Landon just helps himself...or tries to. So, this was our solution:

Yes, those are straps that hold the doors shut!

Meanwhile, Presley is a little peanut & only weighs 14 lbs, 10 oz which is in the 20-25%. She is 27 " which is in the 95%! (compared to Landon at 6 months & he was 19 lbs 6 oz!)

I'm hoping solids will help to fatten her up a little & we started them yesterday. So far, it wasn't a huge hit. Why can't they just start 'em out on pureed brownies?

Trains, Pains, & Christmas Time!

I had a great idea to start a tradition of doing a Gingerbread House with Landon for Christmas! I was REALLY excited when I saw a Gingerbread Train as I knew that Landon would LOVE it! It seemed like it would be a great tradition...until we started making it. What a PAIN! We had a horrible time getting it to stand up! Hopefully Landon won't want to do one next year!

Presley's Dedication

We had Presley dedicated at our church on Sunday! We are so thankful to have this beautiful, sweet, & patient little girl in our lives! Grandpa & Grandma V flew in from Michigan for the event! The service was wonderful & we enjoyed spending the day & week together!
