Legoland!

On Monday, I decided to go to Legoland with these 2...

Landon created an outfit, as usual....

He wore it to the Aquarium!

Afterward, we decided to go to Legoland which is right across from the Aquarium!

I tried to get Presley to sing Karaoke with me but she didn't want to.  Apparently she doesn't know the words to Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer?!"

This was more her style than Karaoke...Lego Cupcakes!

This is SUCH a Presley face....TOTAL Stinker Pants!!!!

Easter Egg Hunt!

I took Presley and her buddy, Bella, to an Easter Egg Hunt at Landon's preschool. Unfortunately, Landon had baseball pictures at the same time and he was VERY disappointed that he didn't get to go. But, the girls and I had a BLAST!!! It was COLD (well, for Texas) and had rained all morning but it stopped long enough for the Easter Egg Hunt!

Later, the Easter Bunny arrived via helicopter and dropped a bunch more eggs.  I was VERY sad that Landon (Mr. Airplane Obsessed) didn't see this!)

I know....Presley looks confused.  I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt though....she is watching a giant bunny drop Easter Eggs out of a helicopter.  She should be a bit confused?!  :)

After several minutes, she caught on and waved to the Easter Bunny!!!

Our New House!

 So, I have had so many requests from family and friends to see pictures of our new house!  It is FAR, FAR from being "done"...we have many bare walls and unfinished places but I took a few pictures of the downstairs.  There are still a few rooms that I did not take pictures of on the 1st floor because there are still too many boxes but as we get settled, I'll add those pictures later.  : )

 One of the main things we loved about this house is the nice, FLAT backyard!  It may not sound like much (especially for those of us who are used to Michigan backyards!) but our old yard was SOOOO small and it sloped.  : (  We couldn't even blow up a pool to fill on a hot summer day!  But, we LOVE our backyard and the basketball court back there!

Clearly we have a LOT of work to do (and painting--I can NOT live in an all tan house!) but here is what we have so far....

Family room!  Not sure if we'll keep the curtains (it's what they left us so we left them up but I'm not really a "Curtains Girl") but they do match and we're going to leave them for now.  I have also ordered a large 12 x 12 area rug for here that I am DYING to get since it will make a big difference in the look of this room!!!!!

Down that little hall to the left is our Master Bedroom.  It's a work in progress....stay tuned for pics of that later!

 Guest bath.  Lots to do yet but Aaron did replace the plain mirror with this one that we already had and I LOVE it!!!  Looks so much better!!!

 Hall leading to guest room at the end (there is also another room that I will use for scrapbooking and a large laundry room!  YES!)

 Office!  Yes, I need an area rug here too....

Guest Room!

Our 2 happy tenants!!!  We even have a new big girl bed for Presley and she is doing AMAZINGLY well in it--no problems!  But, so far, I have not taken any pics upstairs of their rooms, media room, or game room.  Stay tuned.....
