So sweet!

Presley is a Mommy's girl lately. Yes, that is "mommy's girl" with a CAPITAL M. No one else will do, except mommy. Sigh. Tonight, I attempted to clean up after dinner while I handed Presley to Daddy. Presley started screaming.

Daddy: Aw, Sweetheart! Why don't you want to come to Daddy? You are breaking my heart!
Landon: She bweaking youwah heawrt, daddy?
Daddy: Yes! She's breaking my heart!
Landon: Come hewre, Daddy. (Kisses his shirt)
Daddy: What was that for Landon?
Landon: Pweswey is bweaking youwah heawrt, Daddy. I kiss it for you. Is dat all better, Daddy?

= Party Girl = Presley Jo! Apparently, our sweet 7 month old has developed an allergy to sleeping, especially napping. I even hear her at 3 or 4 a.m. just talking for a bit until she falls back to sleep. She is also up EVERY morning at 6 a.m. no matter what time mommy she has gone to bed! So, over Christmas Aunt Liz started singing "My Girl Likes To Party All the Time" from the one hit wonder, Eddy Murphy. Apparently I must be singing it to P.G. a lot also because the other day while Landon was holding his "baby sistah", he was singing to her:

My Scary Face

The other morning, I was feeding Presley some oatmeal & I had some coffee in a travel mug. Landon was also at the table eating his cereal. (A few days earlier, Landon had knocked my coffee onto the floor because he was playing with his airplane on the table).

Landon: Wemember when I spilled your coffee on da floowah, mommy?
Me: Um hm, I remember.
Landon:It go all over da floowah & da walls & da table because I was fwying my aihpwane.
Me: Yes. I was upset that you spilled my coffee.
Landon: Yeah and you maked dat scawey face, mommy. Wike dis:

Moments With Landon

Daddy taught Landon a new saying--"What are you talkin' about, Willis?"

So, when Landon doesn't understand something, he says "What are you talkin' 'bout, Lettuce?!!"


Then, yesterday this was part of a conversation between me & Big L:

Me: Wow! You are Mr. Questions!

L: (Giggles) No I not, mommy! I'm Mr. Dwivah-steyn.

Our Little Ring Bearer!

Devon & Ashley's wedding was beautiful & we had SOOOOO much fun at the reception! Landon was an adorable ring bearer & walked down the aisle full of confidence! I'll admit that I was thinking of not bringing him to the reception because it was a) going to be a late night & b)I wasn't wanting his 3 year old 'tude on display! BUT, he checked his 'tude at the door & was simply CHARMING all night long...& didn't even seem to notice the late hour! He was a BLAST!

Since I can't get the captions to line up with the pictures, here are a few highlights from the night:
1)Landon requested the song "Walk Like A Dinosaur" from the DJ. He was SOOOO excited when they played it! Everyone surrounded him and his dancing queen cousin, Shaye, and chanted "Go Landon! Go Landon!"
2)Ashley sang a song to Devon. Afterward, Landon thought it was HIS turn to sing! I didn't let him but I asked him what he would sing and he was trying to decide between the "Itsy Bitsy Spider" and "Jesus Loves Me!"
3)After Ashley sang to Devon, he went right up to them to talk to them! I was trying to get him off of the floor and he looked at me, threw his hands up in the air in frustration and said "NO MOMMY! I have to tell Ashwey GOOD JOB!"
4)He asked a girl to dance! Okay, so she's not girl, rather, a pretty 24 year old, Paige!
5)He waited patiently to dance with the beautiful bride. When he was done dancing with her, he gave her a kiss on the cheek! AWWWW!!!!
