Landon is playing t-ball again and his team is the Orioles. He is #4!!!
Presley has quickly caught on as well!
(Yes, her shoes squeak!!! Too cute!)
Often, he is not paying attention and the ball will go right past him. His favorite thing to do is to hit the ball! Other than that, he has the attention span of a gnat! : )
On Saturday, there was a grass fire directly behind our house. It stopped at the sidewalk and was way too close for comfort to our backyard....but the Fire Department came very quickly!!! It is AMAZING how quickly it spread especially since we've had such a drought here! However, we are thankful that everything is fine!!!
Landon had field day at his school which Presley and I were able to attend! Normally she is napping during that time, however, she fell asleep during our morning run so her power nap enabled us to go see Landon at school! He was so surprised that we were there and he greeted us with a big smile, hugs and kisses!!!
Since it was sprinkling that day, they had to have it inside and change a few activities but he had a blast anyway! I got pictures of a few games but I was quite busy chasing Presley around and making sure she wasn't stealing all of the supplies!!!
Presley in action! She loved these bean bag frogs (I think she was trying to smuggle a few of them!)
Landon is the "Star Student" next week so he got to take home the class mascot, George the Giraffe! He is VERY excited about George and even slept with him last night! As "Star Student" next week, he is excited to have the privilege of being the line leader, prayer leader, special helper and also gets to bring a snack for his class in addition to George spending the week with us!!!
Does life get any better than Star Wars underwear? Landon doesn't think so. (It was the morning, obviously. That is the reason why Presley doesn't have a bow!!!!I know---GASP!)
I am the mother of an ADORABLE little boy & BEAUTIFUL baby girl, the wife of a fantastic husband, and a misplaced "Michigander" living in Texas. Now, I'M the one with the accent. Hmmm...go figure. But, it's all good. I miss my life up North but now I've got my cowboy boots & I can say ya'll! If I add an extra syllable or two to every word, I sometimes sound like I fit in! I've got some really good friends in Texas too and really, life in Texas is good. : )
