(Not Really!) Potty Time!

So, Presley kept talking about "potty" the other day and was trying to get on the big potty.  I knew she wasn't ready yet but I decided to see what would happen if we got out the potty.  Since it wasn't too serious, I didn't make it much further than the hallway!  Nothing happened but her curiosity has begun!  Yay!

Valentine's Day!

Since it is Valentine's Day, it is only fitting that I mention a few of the things that I love about our kids and their budding personalities!

Things I love about Presley at 1 1/2 years:

1.) When she is getting in her Little Tikes car, she smiles and says "See ya!"
2.) When she colors, she lays down on her tummy and looks up at me and smiles(& usually has a crayon in each hand)!
3.)  When we were at the zoo a month ago, she was waving to the animals and saying "HI! HI! HI!"
4.)  She hits her hand to her forehead and says "Ah, NUTS!" (Something her brother taught her!)
5.) She is now using 2 words sentences: Find it, love ya, (s)TOP it (when I am trying to do her hair!)

Things I love about Landon at 4 1/2 years:

1.) When he and Presley are playing, he'll say things like "Okay, Sweetie Pie?!"
2.) How active his imagination is becoming!  The other day, we were at the park and he told me to climb up on the play structure because I was going to be eaten by the sharks!  He said "It's okay, Mommy, I'll save you!!!"
3.) How he will be playing with his friends but will still blow me kisses occasionally!
4.) He and Presley are really playing together now (okay, and fighting also!) and have their own little jokes!
5.) When he and Presley are playing, he will lean over and kiss her!

Tie Day!

At Preschool, it's Tie Day and Big L is very excited to wear his 1st tie!!! Such a handsome little man!!!!

We got together with some great friends this past weekend; it was a busy time and I didn't get pictures of anyone but the boys! But, here they are!!!

Last weekend, we went to the Fort Worth Stock Show!

At lunchtime, we got Cheetos. They make both kids SUPER happy.  Even PG knows how to say "CHEE-TOW."  : )

(Poor Landon had an allergic reaction to something in the air and his eye was so sore!)

Landon wanted to go on a few rides.  They wouldn't let him ride by himself so Daddy TRIED to fit into the car (guess it would have been better if I had gone with him!)

A Conversation With Presley Jo!!!

Presley just makes me laugh!  This was our conversation tonight:

Me:  Can you say "Landon?"
P: Yandonne.
Me:  Can you say "Mary?"
P: May wee.
Me: Can you say "Shelley?"
P:  Shay wee.
(And we practiced many more names of family members!!! But this is how it ended:)

Me: Can you say "Aaron?"
P:    Daddy!
