Smiley Girl!

Presley is such a happy, smiley baby! Here are a few pictures of her at 4 1/2 months!

Big girl!!!

Our baby girl is getting so big! We got out the ExerSaucer & she LOVES it! She looks like such a big girl in it!

Okay, this was taken right when she got out & I just couldn't help but to include this picture--too cute!

Boys & Bugs!

So, I'm not the bravest person when it comes to bugs or anything creepy crawly. But, when your sweet boy looks up at you with those big brown eyes because he wants the Preying Mantis (who he named "Coco"), what is a mom to do? So I tried to act brave and caught the bug....with a BIG net! After my big capture, Landon "played" with it for the length of the video...and then he was over it. My "brave boy" wasn't brave enough to lift the lid to let her go! Again, I had to "cowgirl up" as they say in Texas! I'm such a big idiot that when we saw poor Coco the next day, I was suckered into catching her AGAIN. Am I smart enough to learn? NOPE! I did it and it had the same result = fascinating for 1.5 minutes. The kid is lucky that he didn't wake up with it in his bed. I thought about it....seriously. The problem then would be that then Coco would be in the house and that was too much for me. I hope Coco is smart enough to have gone to the neighbor's yard!

Late Summer 2010

We had some family pictures taken in September as well as Landon's 3 year pictures!

We found a frog--Landon loved him!

He also LOVED this sucker! He called it his "beautiful colors!"

Dreamin' big....

In the car the other day, Landon and I had this conversation:

L - Can I have a cooookie, mommy?

Me - Nope! You've had enough to eat this morning!

L - Well, okay....can I have a doggy?

Me - WHAT? A doggy? No, you have to be older to have a doggy! : )

L - Oh. Well... can I have a wace cawr? (race car) Dat would be incwedible! (his new word--he says it all of the time!)

I've got to hand it to the kid...he's persistent and then in retrospect, the cookie doesn't seem like such a big deal! The kid is good!!! Reach for the stars, Big L!!

A Visit With Grandpa & Grandma

Grandpa and Grandma came for a visit last weekend! Presley was excited to be snuggling Grandma again!

We went to the Pumpkin Patch on Monday! It was a beautiful, warm day! Presley enjoyed some time with Grandpa!

We ate very well during the visit! : )

We had a great time! Thanks for coming to visit Grandpa and Grandma! Looking forward to seeing you in December!
