Dinner Date

This was one of my 3 dinner dates last night at TGI Fridays (a.k.a The "Shark" restaurant due to the poster of Jaws on the wall.  We have to sit by the Jaws poster every time we go because the kids LOVE the poster and also the Swordfish above it.  This has become "our table" and even the different host/hostesses know when we come in where we want to sit!)  Landon REALLY wanted to wear his "Star Wars Jenga Fett" costume because he thought people would think he was the 'real' Jenga Fett.

Visit with Grandpa!

Grandpa came to visit about 1 1/2 weeks ago!  I kept forgetting to get out the camera but here is a favorite activity when he comes to visit--reading stories!  Presley especially loves books and would let you read to her ALL day!

Christmas in Florida!

We spent Christmas in Florida with the Watsons! It was a great trip...despite Shaye and Landon fighting like siblings! But, of course now Landon says he misses Shaye! Fortunately, they would stop arguing long enough for pictures!

We weren't exactly prepared for our day at the beach (no suits) but we still had a BLAST!

No trip to the beach is complete without ice cream on the pier!

Later, Maggie painted Presley's nails for the very 1st time!

So Landon was DYING to get his nails painted too!  LOL!  So, we let Maggie paint his big toenails (while Daddy was out golfing, of course!  He wasn't exactly thrilled when he saw it!)

Later, "Golf Cart Grandpa and Grandma" drove from their Florida house to visit us!

We later went to Ft. Myers Beach and met up with some friends who used to live in Texas!  It was so fun to see Matt, Krista, and Max again!

The "hit of the day" was playing with these dead Horseshoe Crabs that were washed up ALL OVER the beach!

The next day, we went to Manatee Park!

Landon REALLY wanted to rent a boat so we did....and it was AMAZING!  We paddled all around and there were Manatees just feet and sometimes (deep breath) inches from our boat!  I was excited but COMPLETELY freaked out at how close they were!  I know they can't hurt you but they are BIG and I was afraid we would be swimming with them!

After that, we went to the Ft Myers Children's Museum!

Presley was not afraid to hold the snake!  (Landon either but I didn't have my camera then when he did it)

Presley WAS, however, too afraid to hand feed the Stingrays!  Not Landon though....he LOVED it!

For Landon's last dinner in Florida, he ordered Tilapia and LOVED every bite of it!  

We had a lot of fun with lots of great adventures!
