So, our Party Girl is on the move ....slowly, VERY slowly...but surely...
...and she is getting herself into tight quarters...
We had to get a little more creative than tempting her to crawl for Cheerios since this girl doesn't care about food! : ) (This is how we got Landon to crawl!)
So, this was about 1 month ago but I've been slacking a bit in the blog department. It's pretty good to be a kid at the dentist these days....They had video stations for kids in the waiting room & then Landon got to pick out a movie (Pooh Bear!) from an extensive collection as he walked into the appointment. He even had his own personal overhead screen to watch as he got his teeth checked. The hygentist was INCREDIBLY sweet to him and I think that Landon loved every minute of his visit....right on down to the "Scooby Doo" sticker as he left.
Does this look like a kid who had any trauma during the appointment?!
Here are a few more pics from Thursday that I didn't have time to post before. We tried to go to the zoo but I guess I should have been skeptical when I saw there were police there to direct traffic. Optimistic since it was "early", we still tried to go until I saw how far away people were having to park and how long the lines were. So, we took the train instead. We literally had the entire train to ourselves....and we had an AWESOME time!
Landon played it cool....
Angie made a cute green bow for Presley since I forgot to dress her in green for St. Patty's Day (initially I forgot to put green on Landon but once I realized, I changed his clothes!!) Angie's mom also knitted this adorable, very soft hat!
We had a great visit with Grandpa & Grandma D a few weeks ago (sorry for the delay in getting the pics posted!) Unfortunately, I didn't take that many pictures (& especially pictures with Grandpa...sorry, Grandpa!!)but here are some that I did take:
I am the mother of an ADORABLE little boy & BEAUTIFUL baby girl, the wife of a fantastic husband, and a misplaced "Michigander" living in Texas. Now, I'M the one with the accent. Hmmm...go figure. But, it's all good. I miss my life up North but now I've got my cowboy boots & I can say ya'll! If I add an extra syllable or two to every word, I sometimes sound like I fit in! I've got some really good friends in Texas too and really, life in Texas is good. : )
