Wacky Wardrobe!

Landon had "Wacky Wardrobe" day at preschool the other day! He was VERY excited! He had many of his own ideas about being crazy including 2 different socks and wearing 2 different shoes too!  He had a few ideas that didn't pass with me though including taping straws to himself (!) (his argument to me was "but Mommy!  That would be SOOO wacky! Can't argue there!) and putting a shirt on his head!  In the end, this is what we went with...

No Training Wheels (Almost!)

Landon has been BEGGING us for a while to take the training wheels off of his bike! I wasn't sure he was ready and I certainly wasn't so I just kept putting it off...until he would not be put off any longer! He finally got his wish last weekend and did quite well for his 1st time!

Visit from Grandpa!

Grandpa Druyvesteyn came to visit this past weekend! Most of the time, I forgot my camera : ( but I did manage to get a few shots when we were around the house!

We also went to Landon's t-ball game so here is a little video of him hitting the ball!  Most of the time he can hit the coach's pitch and doesn't need the tee(they give them 3 pitches and if they don't hit it, they let them hit off of the tee!!!)  : )

Carnival!

We went to a little carnival on Friday night. As usual, Landon was fearless. He rode EVERY ride that he was tall enough for and he rode them by himself! We had a great time...except when it came time to leave. He had the BIGGEST meltdown/temper tantrum of his little life. Sigh.  But, here are the happy pictures!!!

Presley was too little for the rides but she loved watching her brother!

Easter Surprise!

We got a great surprise package from Grandpa and Grandpa Druyvesteyn this week! Thank you!

Easter 2012!

We had a wonderful Easter! We found out that the Easter Bunny had visited our house!

After that,we went to the early service at church (since Presley is always ready to party by 5:30 a.m., the early service is no problem for us!)

We also had a wonderful brunch!

Presley was NOT a fan of the Easter Bunny!

Later, we went to a friend's house for dinner!  They have a few animals and the kids had a BLAST looking at them (but Presley didn't want to get too close!)

It had just rained so Landon thought it was the perfect time to wear his Froggy Boots! I did forget his Easter Basket so we were able to borrow one of Addison's!  At 4 years old, a girly basket is no big deal...
