Happy (Almost!) Halloween!!!

We have had fun these last few days!  Landon is really into Halloween this year and Presley just looks super cute in the outfits!  : ) Thank you to Grandpa and Grandma D for Presley's cute outfit!

Darth Vader has been going EVERYWHERE lately!  He goes to MOPS, Kroger, Pumpkin Patches and basically anywhere where I will let him wear his costume!  He did correct me though if I called him "Landon" as he told me "I'm not Landon, Mommy; I'm Darth Vader."  (My bad, Mr. Vader!)

We also went to Landon's preschool to his Halloween Festival!  The kids got to dress up and Presley and I signed up to help with the games!

Later, we tried to help the kids play games.  Presley was really into the games too--this wasn't exactly the game but it was what she wanted to do.....

When she found the candy, it was all over....

Meanwhile, Darth was hanging with his buddies at school.  He was excited when he saw his "sistah" and me (it was a surprise!)

On Thursday, Presley started out in a good mood!

Then she decided she didn't want to have any more pictures!

By Friday, she was much more able to cope with life....

Saturday started out with pancakes, of course!!!!

Then we went to the Pumpkin Patch!! (I  know, Presley is not dressed in Halloween attire in the following pics but I HAD to have some time to do laundry!!!!)

 In the evening, we went to a friend's house to carve pumpkins!!

Presley with Emma!  Usually when she sees Emma, she is coming over to babysit!  So, she looks a little unsure here of why Emma is holding her! She kept a close eye on us!!!

On Sunday, we played a bit after church before we went to the Stockyards! 

Presley LOVES this car! It's a good thing...Landon never cared that much for it.  Of course, he is MUCH more interested in it now that Presley loves it!

Later, Landon and I met up with some friends at "Trunk or Treat" at Ms. Angie's church!  We had a great time but Presley and Daddy stayed home to nap!

Mrs. Kathy was there too and Landon always is confused when he sees her outside of her house!  : ) Her dog was dressed as the "black sheep." (Her granddaughter, Abby was dressed as "Little Bo Peep!!!!"

Fall--Texas Style!

We have been having a fun, busy fall!  Here are just a few of the things we have been doing lately....

At the Pumpkin Patch, I got them looking in the same direction!  YAY!

Normally, my pictures end up looking like this with kids looking ANYWHERE but the camera....

Now, this could be cute except for the fact that he was supposed to be sitting down!

I asked daddy to get Presley dressed for the event.  When we got there, I realized that he had put her costume on backwards!  So yes, she's showing a little bit of skin....

We tried to get Presley to ride a pony but she FREAKED OUT!!!

Right before we left, Landon decided that he wanted a mustache for some reason!

Presley was interested enough in the pumpkin (for about 2 seconds) to actually put her loveys down!

He wanted to bring a mustache to his buddy, David, also!

Presley even did the hay maze!  The other kids were too fast and I never got pictures of them in the maze. : (

I love this video!  I love that Landon decided that he could "read" to his sister.  He is SOOO sweet to her!  Every morning when he is ready to get up, I hear him yell on the monitor, "Mommy!  I'm awake!  I want to play with my baby sister!!!"  The 2nd thing I love about this video is at the very end when I turn the camera on Presley and she automatically says "CHEE" (cheese!).  She's just over 1 and knows the drill!!!!
