1. Reruns of shows
2. Too much scientific garbage
We watch Shark Week for the sensationalism....we want to see the Jaws'esque' stuff. We want to hear the stories of the survivors of attacks. We DO NOT want to hear the scientists go about describing how they are going to gather the data to learn more about the sharks. Sorry, but it is true.
Anyway, here is a picture of our own little shark. Pretty menacing looking, isn't he?!

LOL! So true.
And I love your little shark! Menacing indeed...it looks like he already bit off his handler's head. :-)
I totally agree. In fact, I actually went to the movie store and rented horrific shark movies just to show Dominick what a real shark was. After watching Mythbusters for the fifth time, we gave up. I went straight for the cheesy shark infested ocean movies. Don't worry ladies. This is just more material for the therapist to work on with my children later. I am so glad I was not the only one who was totally disappointed! You want an awesome yet terrifying show to watch? It is called "Locked Up Abroad." Monday nights at around 8 o'clock on National Geographic. Check it out!!!
Well, I'm glad that I was not alone in wanting more gore from Shark Week. Seriously--don't want to see the scientists tagging the sharks.
Gonna have to check out the show, Jennifer--I'll report back. : )
oh yes, we're going to have to check that show out...there was the "flying shark" show..the ones in Africa...we liked that one...and I had to explain to Gwen that the shark was hungry, that's why he was eating the seal...sad
appple. apple. pear. pear. I don't really have anything to say.
Scientific Garbage? That's an oxymoron!
