We went to San Antonio last weekend for a long weekend! This is what we FINALLY achieved after about 5 1/2 hours in the car. Oh, and the trip only lasted about 5 hours 45 min. : )
I HAD to take this picture since we FINALLY got our Party Girl to SLEEP!!!
I've been working with Landon on asking the owners if he can pet their doggies rather than just run up to dog. He asked if he could pet this dog & the owner was SO nice! Landon was curious why he was carrying a bag and so he was told what it was for. Here is Big L trying to "collect" from the dog....guess we have a little work to do on anatomy....
Ack! Is she going to not keep her bows on anymore? WHAT am I going to do?!!!!
Okay, so she looks a little uncomfortable but she was happy! : )
AND she fell asleep! I think that I got the only 2 pictures of her napping the entire trip! : )

Our Party Girl--poolside. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of Big L in the pool since most of the time I spent in the hotel room while she napped.
Most of the time on the Riverwalk, this was how it went...
And here is one such moment where he had fallen and tripped over something he had climbed...
...he got over it with a little bit of Apple Juice!
....and HOLD THE PHONE....Party Girl allowed Aaron to hold her AGAIN! It's a record!

...and in a moment of stellar parenting (after NUMEROUS falls that were way to close to the river's edge for this mama), we told Landon that there were sharks in the river. So, he stayed a little closer to us and didn't get so close to the edge...

San Antonio is a special place(for us and hopefully for our kids!) It was a very different than the trip we took by ourselves 5 years ago but we are so lucky and blessed to have these 2 beautiful children in our lives!

LOVE! LOVE! Soooo cute...I miss them so much! Knew the day was coming that the bows would come off! Happens to all of us...:(
