What happen?
What happen? This is Landon's new phrase which I hear approximately 1,892 times per day. Sometimes, for variety, he changes it to "What happen, mommy?" He's clever like that. He EVEN changes it up at times with "What happen, mommy, mommy?" But yes, I answer this question ALL day long. So, what I want to know is...does this replace the "why?" phase? Because I certainly can't be expected to go through this with him AND a why phase, right? Experienced moms, "what happen?" with your kiddos?

Hmmm. Has he been watching "A Mighty Wind"...maybe he is channeling Fred Willard?

BTW, you can stop watching the clip I listed above at the 1:00 minute mark. The rest is not related to "Wha Happen!?"
Although my comment is not accompanied by any video clips, I will say both of my kids had a brief "what doin'?" phase. Neither had a "why?" phase. PrincessGirl recently started adding "You know what?" about 74 times to each story and LittleMan says "HEY!" prior to every sentence he utters.
Luckily, these phases don't seem to last long and just about the time you think you are going to find a nice corner where you can begin to rock, the phase will be over and a new one will begin.
I love it!
Jenny--Where do you come up with this stuff?!
Jennifer--thanks for your words of encouragement. I had already picked out my corner (and I hid a few snacks there) so maybe I can put that on hold... for now. However, the STUPID "Thomas the Train" shows may send me rockin' in the corner. Forever.
Ok, so, in all honesty, I had a friend randomly send me that Fred Willard clip two weeks ago as a totally random thing related to a totally different topic, and I couldn't help but think of it when I read your post. I knew it would make people wonder "WTF?" and I am, strangely, OK with that.
