We covered his floor in balloons to surprise him when he woke up! He was SOOOOO excited!
We planned to celebrate Landon's Birthday on August 21 because Aaron was home (and Landon doesn't know how to read a calendar!) However, when his actual birthday came around, I couldn't ignore his big day....so he had 2 very special days!
He REALLY wanted to go out for pancakes....so we did!
Presley also enjoyed the breakfast (at lunch time!)
Landon REALLY loves Brownies. So, I decided to make some instead of another cake. However, when we weren't looking, he grabbed a chunk. Sneaky boy. He did get into trouble for doing it but later, I didn't let him see me laugh...I love Brownies too! : )
We got him a "putting game" for his birthday. He LOVED it!
He's in his "happy place"--golf! : )
Presley tries to get into the action (excuse her crazy hair!)
Later, Daddy and Landon ate ice cream!
Let's be honest: The 'Ole Birthday Boy worked his charm, his big, brown eyes, and his "but I'm the Birthday Boy" line and got BOTH the Iron and Driver that he was wanting. Daddy is a sucker for him. : )
August 22:
We started the day with a play date with Tommy and Mrs. Katie!
Later, we went to Putt Putt (or Pah Paht as Presley was saying!).
We played some games too!
Later, we went to Logan's for dinner because he loves the peanuts you can eat before dinner!(His face is so shiny because I had put sunscreen on it for golf!)
Even though he looks like he didn't enjoy the singing, he can't stop talking about it! Afterward he said:
Mommy, can we come back anothewr time so they can sing to me and shout fowr me? Dat was so fun!
We are SO blessed to be the parents of this sweet (yet stubborn!), golf obsessed, Star Wars & snacks lovin', brown-eyed boy! We have had a wonderful four years!!!
I am the mother of an ADORABLE little boy & BEAUTIFUL baby girl, the wife of a fantastic husband, and a misplaced "Michigander" living in Texas. Now, I'M the one with the accent. Hmmm...go figure. But, it's all good. I miss my life up North but now I've got my cowboy boots & I can say ya'll! If I add an extra syllable or two to every word, I sometimes sound like I fit in! I've got some really good friends in Texas too and really, life in Texas is good. : )
