I love 18 months!!

Okay, I honestly have enjoyed all of the ages and stages but 18 months is very fun! Landon really interacts a lot with you now both in a good sense and bad. He definitely has a mind of his own and isn't afraid to show it as the customers at Boston's restaurant could attest to. : ) Some of my favorite things are how excited he gets to see daddy at the end of the day! Here he is just waiting for him!

I also love his little voice and the way he says things. For example, I LOVE the way he says "cookie." I just think it is adorable--see for yourself.



I also love how he can answer questions now (well, it is mostly good! : ) and how he tells you his age too. Check it out:



He is really good at telling me when either he or something that he wants is "guck" (stuck). I especially love it when I have him strapped into the seat in the grocery cart and he tells me he is "guck". He looks at me oddly when I say "I know! Isn't mommy smart?!"

Just when I think he is getting old enough to do things on his own, I sometimes later regret my decision. Like today we met some friends at Jason's Deli for lunch. Landon, of course, had a big lunch and when we were done, I decided that I didn't need to carry him and that he could walk out just in front of me. I wasn't quite fast enough to stop him when I saw him stop in the middle of the deli and pick up some food off of the ground and eat it. Sigh. I guess I'll be carrying him again....
