When my mom was here, we went to see "ICE" at the Gaylord Texan! It was awesome even though it was FREEZING in there (9 degrees anyone?!). "The Grinch" is the theme this year and it is amazing! All of the sculptures were so vibrant and whimsical--SOOO cool! The pictures don't do it justice but I tried anyway....
Yes, we wore their parkas and I also wore a down jacket of my own underneath it....and no, I was not sweating. I was glad that I had both of them on!
You can't tell how big all of the ice sculptures were until you see us in the picture!

Fun!! That looks awesome. Did you take Landon? I've never been, but we were thinking of going this year. I wasn't sure about taking Tate, though, because it's so freakin cold in there.
It was awesome--I highly recommend it. It is only 9 degrees in there so I did not take Landon. #1--I wanted to enjoy myself and not be the crazy mom yelling "NO, don't touch that! NO, don't climb that!" Because, let's be honest, he would be the kid to break a head or a hand off of one of the Whoville characters. #2--It is freakin' cold in there and I thought he would be miserable #3--Because mommy needed a break! : )
