Our little patient

As most of you know, Landon had 2 procedures done on Thursday morning, January 14. It was definitely an emotional day for mommy so it was extra special that daddy was there and was able to pick up the pieces (my pieces, that is)!

Here is our little man before he realized that anything was going on!
He had some major bedhead but Aaron told me that it was "overkill" if I tried to do his hair and spike it! : (
I had to take a picture from behind! It was just TOO cute!
Still doesn't know anything is about to happen.....

Getting out some energy before the surgery...Again, I was loving the opening in the back!
X marks the side....(if you can see it on his thigh)

Reading with daddy because mommy turned into a pathetic, emotional mess....
But, I pulled myself together for a little snuggle....

He was a CRABBY mess when he woke up from the surgery! Poor sweet boy...
Not even the popsicle was helping!

He fell asleep again after waking up after the surgery but he WOULD NOT let go of the popsicle. Whenever we tried to take it away (it was dripping all over me!), he would wake up and throw a royal fit!

Aaron tried to be clever and give him the empty popsicle stick to hold so he could take the melting popsicle away but that didn't work either.

Recovery time! He LOVED all of the extra attention and getting waited on! He still is trying to be a little bossy with me and get the special attention!
We got him a new lion to replace the grungy, old lion but he DOES NOT like the new lion. The old one is the only one that is comforting...

Landon got a cookie bouquet from his buddies Sam & Addison! Do they know him well or what? Food always helps! : )

He loves the cookies!!!

He had a setback on Friday with some major constipation problems. The poor kid didn't want to do anything but cry or lay around. He wouldn't even watch a movie! : ( It was a long day (and an even longer day for him, I'm afraid) : (
Yes, I bought this outfit for Landon because I thought it would be nice not to have anything tight on his stomach. I have had to wash it in the evenings so he can wear it again--it is comfy! That is why you keep seeing it over and over....

Here is a short video of him playing before the big event...

Doing what he does best....

This video was taken this evening(Sunday)! How amazing--you wouldn't even know that the kid had surgery the way he is acting!!!! He is doing GREAT!!!
