This has been a ROUGH weekend. We stayed home all weekend to potty train Landon. I was prepared....but he wasn't. We started out mostly camped in the bathroom with books and even a movie to watch so that he would get the idea of how it would feel when he would have to go. This part was pretty successful & he went on the potty several times....until I put the big boy pants on him and told him to tell mommy when he had to go. We would go outside of the bathroom and I would ask him often or just bring him back to the bathroom and he wouldn't go. Later I would bring him in to "try again" only to discover that he had already gone and wasn't bothered one bit. No big deal--we'll try again (and again and again!) However, I now realize that he will sit in his wet underpants all day and he doesn't care at all. I am the only one who cares (hello loads of laundry!) So, rather than drive myself to the brink of insanity (I'm teetering there now), I have decided that we will try again in a month or so. But for now, here are some pictures of this weekend:

We tried several times with LittleMan but when he was ready it just happened. You are wise not to push him right now.
Yeah, we are putting it on hold, too. This stuff ain't easy.
