Good thing he is cute...

"Um, mommy...I gotta tell you somethin'..."
Cute, right? Yeah, well what you might be interested to know is that right before these pictures were taken tonight, Landon pooped in the tub. I C K! Yeah, he was tooting a bit and making his own “Jacuzzi” which I thought was funny because he was trying to figure out where the bubbles were coming from. I assumed that was all it was until I heard the noise that made my hair stand on end…and I knew we were in trouble. Normally I would just yell for daddy. Not tonight. DADDY was out golfing. So it was a good night to be him…bad night to be mommy. So, I had to drain the tub, get rid of the floater, and clean it the best I could all while holding a slippery baby who REALLY needed a bath then.
Mommy needs a margarita.

Love it!!! The first time Margaret did that Jeremy and I both were dry-heaving. He scooped it up with a cup the first time...another time when Margaret did it I went in for the scoop and I accidentally touched it. You'd think for all the stuff moms see come out of their babies we'd all be okay with things like accidentally touching their poop...but no...it makes me gag.

YUCK! KNOCK on wood, Grae hasn't done that yet...Gwen did it twice and all while we were living with my mom...ugh...the clean-freak was freaking and laughing of course because she didn't have to clean it up...sorry...wish I had been there to help you out! Yeah, never fun but I'm sure Landon was enjoying the change!

1. Was he sitting in that bath seat when he did it?

2. Did you scoop it up with the same cup he is now playing with?

3. Did you put it in the trash or toilet?

4. How much Clorox does it take to make the bathtub clean again?

Now, now Sarah -- you act like you were mortified, but you can't pull one over on us...we all know that you secretly LOVE watching animals poop.

And that last picture says it all. Too funny.

So on occassion, my kids still take a bath together ~ no need to schedule an intervention, we are going to put an end to it soon! The other day, Karsen was in the tub with Griffin and my mom was giving them a bath when Low and Behold Griff poops in the tub for the first time. My mom calls me in and asks me what Karsen's reaction would be if she knew. I informed my mom that she would flippin' freak out. So we quickly got Karsen out and transfered her to the other tub while we "dealt" with the situation that Griffin caused.

Poop in the tub is never good, never.

BTW - Landon is so adorable. Look at those EYES! Good looking boy, indeed.

Right, Jenny...but I don't get to I mean have to touch animal poop. The accidental touching part is the gross part for me.

And, I agree with Jennifer...that Landon is a cute little boy! Big smile. Big eyes.

Oh yeah...I forgot to ask...is that a floating cloud of urine on the right side of the picture? If so...you may want to monitor his yellow food intake.

Well, Jennifer and Sarah...of course you know that compliments of Landon will get you EVERYWHERE! Love you guys!

And Rebekah, YES, he WAS sitting in the seat when "it" happened. ICK. No, didn't scoop it with the cup--he loves it too much and I couldn't do that too him. Just got a bunch of tissue to get it and flush it down the toilet. (Dry heaves) And BTW--there is NEVER enough Clorox. NEVER.

Ugh...that should be "to him" in my last comment. I hate it when people make the "to/two/too" errors (and I also hate the "their/there" errors.) NOW I DID IT! Darn "trying to hurry"

Sarah said...

Oh KJ...your being silly. I mean, really, its not that big of a deal to make a mistake or too. You have a lot of friends. They will be their for you even if a you're grammer slips up when your in a hurry.

(Six mistakes above...can you find 'em?)

KJ Druyvesteyn said...

Oh, can I? Your should be you're. its - it's. too - two. Their -there. you're grammar- your. Last your - you're.

Fun game....kind of like when you have to find the differences between two seemingly identical pictures. Fun!

Oh, it's the 1st time I've heard that he looks like me (other than his thighs, of course!) : )
