Why I love my hubby

Okay, this post isn't about Landon. Gasp, shock--I know.

My husband was away on business for a few days & got back last night. It got me thinkin’ of what I love about him—here are just a few things:

1. Laughs at his own jokes (and sometimes he is the ONLY one laughing!)
2. Sweet
3. Great daddy (well, not to ME, people …to our son)
4. Full head of hair (although, sadly, some are turning a “grayish” color. WHAT? When did we get this old? Is it me turning his hair gray?)
5. Laid back (complements my type A personality quite nicely)
6. Knows to sleep upstairs when he has bad gas
7. Puts the toilet seat back down (He’s only slipped up twice in 2 ½ years of marriage. Not bad!)
8. Hard-working
9. Can do a fabulous “white boy” dance
10. Thoughtful--for example, last week I went to a late movie with friends & it was after midnight by the time I got home. (That was a CRAZY night for me—I haven’t been out after midnight in well over a year! What a nerd) When I got home, he had turned down the covers for me & set up all of my pillows (I use 4, people!) just the way I like ‘em. AW!!!!

Here we are, the happy family:

Kim, that's the sweetest thing ever, especially considering he MADE me take his friend to the train station after picking him up from the airport:) ha ha, just kidding...no seriously, that's super sweet...and I'm loving the "turning back the sheets"! All I got was, "hmshmmff"! Lucky girl! On a different note...you are in trouble with the cookies! I didn't even realize how many you had stuck in there!!!!

FINALLY A PICTURE OF YOU!! I have been speculating on what you look like and, quite honestly, I was waaayy off. I had you with dark brown hair--but I was dead on with super cute (OK, Ang tipped me off on that one).

I love it that you guys had your pictures taken at Julies!!! Isn't she great! You guys make a hot little family! Precious!!!!!!! Was your late night movie SATC? Oh, and I have you beat, I haven't been to a MOVIE THEATER since May 2005...and it was for the opening of Star Wars, people!!!

I cannot believe you added the part about his bad gas.

Sarah, it was SATC!!! GOOD movie for sure! Could have done with out the side view of the schlong but whatever...and KJ, that's my fav part you put about Aaron...that he actually KNOWS to sleep somewhere else when he has gas...LOVE IT! You really have trained him well!

Fo' sure, ladies...fo' sure. He had "garlic farts" the other night and it wasn't even a discussion...he's like, "I'm gonna go sleep in the naughty room." Yep, good boy. (Sidenote: Ang knows this but...the "naughty room" is the term I use for the room that has his old bedroom stuff in it. Yeah, it has a TWIN bed! He he But he loves that little room and has a computer up there, etc. So, when he has gas or something, he gets sent to the naughty room)

And yes, Julie is great! But, you should know that she photoshopped my hairy mole and my third nostril right out of the picture. She is GOOD!

Sarah--that is TOO sad that you haven't been to the movie theatre in that long. And Star Wars? NERDY.

Oh kim! You are so graphic. How am I suppose to look at Aaron and not think of his "garlic" issues. I mean seriously, what if you invite us over for a nice Italian dinner? If the kids suddenly become ill....you'll know why:)

Poor Missouri-accented Aaron eating his garlic bread and watching CNN...not even knowing all this stuff is being said about him.

Yep, very cute family!! Between your super awesome family picture and Sarah looking all fab without makeup or a shower, and I already know Angie is hot stuff...I think I've decided I shouldn't meet y'all anymore. I'll let you keep imagining me looking like Eva Longoria. I know that's what you all think.

So my husband has been lurking on these blogs for the last few days..I hope he doesn't see this one and expect something similar! So sweet.

I'm just cracking up at it all really..garlic, ugh! Yeah girls, the 1st time I heard naughty room I thought something else...and for clarification...Jenny is TOTALLY hot stuff...you should have seen how stinkin' cute she was at Easter at church...yellow pumps (VERY CUTE) navy dress and yellow belt! SERIOUSLY folks! How does she do that when she is also making Tate cute as a button??? I'm lucky to actually have the same colored flip flops on at church...yes, I wear flip flops to church...the nice, fabric or leather ones, not the plastic ones...there's a difference...I have "dressy" flip flops...oh crap, that sounded bad, I probably should move to Hawaii where that's ok...ooohhh, then I could be friends with Jack Johnson and Gabrielle Reese...y'all could come visit!

Jenny--I really was not looking all fab without my make-up on...the one girl who mentioned that I did is a teacher at my school so I'm sure she felt obligated to say nice things about me. I saw the top of your head in that one picture of your family on the blog...I see how precious and cute you all are.
